The County Cupboard was established in 1972 in the basement of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma, and moved to its current location at 303 W Main St in 1990. 

The Cupboard is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose aim is to generate funds from donated items. Those funds benefit other nonprofit organizations, and the people of the Waushara County Area.
